Placing an order or accepting a publishing contract implies full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms and Conditions of Sale.

2. Purpose

These terms govern the relationship between Maison Ynoma and its clients in the publication, distribution, and sale of books (print and digital) via www.ynoma-editions.com and affiliated distribution channels.

3. Catalogue & Offer

Maison Ynoma publishes literary titles in line with its editorial vision.
Every publication is subject to a publishing agreement. The catalogue available on the website presents the works offered for sale, including formats, prices, and delivery conditions.

4. Orders & Acceptance

Orders for books (print or digital) are confirmed once the client accepts these TCS and receives an order confirmation email.
Digital books are delivered immediately or within the timeframe indicated after payment.
Print books are subject to production and shipping delays (print-on-demand or stock). Estimated delivery times are indicated on the product page.

5. Prices & Payment

All prices are shown in euros, inclusive of VAT (Belgian rate or applicable local rate).
Payment is made through secure methods offered on the website (credit/debit cards, etc.).
The applicable price is the one in effect at the time of order confirmation.
In case of non-payment, Maison Ynoma is under no obligation to deliver the order.

6. Delivery & Transfer of Risk

Print books are shipped via partner carriers to the address provided by the client. Risk of loss or damage passes to the client once the carrier takes charge of the shipment.
For digital books, ownership is transferred automatically upon delivery.

7. Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with Belgian consumer law, clients have a 14-day withdrawal period from receipt of the goods, except for digital products once downloading has begun.
Return shipping costs are borne by the client, unless the product is defective.

8. Intellectual Property & Rights

Authors retain intellectual ownership of their works, except for rights explicitly transferred in the publishing contract.
Maison Ynoma acquires publishing rights as specified in each agreement — including reproduction, distribution, and adaptation rights where applicable.
Any unauthorized reproduction of the website’s content (texts, images, covers) is strictly prohibited.

9. Confidentiality & Data Protection

Maison Ynoma complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Client data is used solely for order management, delivery, and communication purposes.
No personal data is shared with third parties without consent.

10. Liability

Maison Ynoma cannot be held liable for indirect damages arising from the use or non-delivery of books.
In case of a defective or damaged copy, liability is limited to replacement or refund.
Maison Ynoma is not responsible for delays caused by carriers or force majeure.

11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Belgian law. Any dispute not resolved amicably shall fall under the jurisdiction of the courts where Maison Ynoma is registered.
